Our Vision:
Vision & Principles
The Jewish Diaspora Movement amplifies diverse forms of Judaism in public life as a force for everybody’s freedom. We connect and support the growing constellation of cultural and spiritual projects that reject the assumption that Jews benefit from an insular culture or a militarized ethnostate. We envision a collaborative global Jewish network that celebrates difference, experimentation, and accessibility, upholds the sanctity of all life, and practices Judaism with integrity.
Our Principles:
Multiplicity of practice, background, and identity is our strength.
Religion, culture, and politics are intertwined; our traditions carry both oppressive and liberatory legacies, and we choose the liberatory.
Solidarity with all oppressed peoples, including in Palestine, is central to Judaism.
Judaism is always evolving; each generation reshapes it for its needs.
We hold complexity, autonomy, and constructive conflict as necessary for strong communities.
